The Alliance actively recruits those who understand the value of a positive, engaged student body in enhancing the atmosphere for academic achievement; people who are willing to provide a unifying voice and a network for sharing resources, information, and training opportunities through partnerships and joint ventures. Alliance members include professional educators in both private and public sectors: teachers, college and university professors, administrators and supervisors, corporate trainers, and business people who believe in the importance of the mission.

We strongly suggest club and class organizations enroll their advisors, principals and administrators enroll themselves and several of their faculty and staff as members to share the resources and monthly information and enhance their effectiveness with the general student population.

Dollars and Sense

The annual individual membership dues ($45 US) are deductible for many as professional development.   Contributions beyond the dues are considered charitable as a result of our 501(c)3 status (and are greatly appreciated!).

Alliance members receive:

• A bi-monthly two-page PDF newsletter (In Brief) concerning student leadership training
• An e-newsletter (News of Note) with timely items of interest to activities people
• A bi-monthly awareness article (The Advocate) for school and association newsletters to help raise awareness of the importance of student activities and its integral role in the mission of schools
• Password-protected access to the Alliance web site with the following features:

The Alliance accomplishes a major part of its mission of advocating the value of cocurricular activities by licensing our periodic newsletters and electronic publications to a wider audience of state and regional student-centered organizations/associations who have affiliated with us. Often those associations offer discount coupons to their members who want to enjoy all the benefits of the Alliance by joining themselves as individuals.
