by Lyn Fiscus
December 11, 2009
Alliance member Bob Tryanski was recognized last week at the National Conference on Student Activities in Fort Lauderdale as the national recipient of the 2009 Earl Reum Award, given to honor those who encourage and inspire others in the field of student leadership and enthusiastically share their experience and expertise through presentations to adults.
“Anyone associated with NAWD has seen Bob’s creativity in both small group presentations, keynote situations, and as the facilitator of the 2006 NAWD evening program in Washington, D.C. known as the Innovation Naturalization Simulation,” said PASC Executive Director Jim Finnemeyer in nominating Bob for the award. “Bob consistently brings a high level of creativity, outstanding processing skills, and in-depth curriculum development to any program that he directs or presents to students or to adults. At PASC, we count on Bob’s expertise and experience in our on-going workshop curriculum review and revisions.”
In addition to his work with student councils, Bob has created programs for many other groups including the Union League of Philadelphia, Freedoms Foundation of Valley Forge, Presidential Classroom for Young Americans, the Horatio Alger Association, the United Way, and most recently work with the sons and daughters of our nation’s governors.
Join us in congratulating Bob on this well-deserved honor!
